ls 1 - panel saw for batch-size 1

The solution for industrial production of furniture

A great diversity of parts at higher speed

The ls 1 achieves maximum flexibility in wood panel cutting

The furniture production industry is placing increasingly greater importance on fully automatic batch-size-one manufacturing. Permanently changing materials and individualized products require new concepts and ideas – such as our ls 1 panel cutting saw. Its revolutionizing compact circular workcell concept integrates innovative details into an economically attractive solution.

The average production capacity of the panel saw is 1500 parts per shift, i.e. 3 to 5 parts per minute, depending on the cutting plan mix. The design of the brush tables provides gentle handling & transport, and absolute freedom of cutting planes allows for optimized material utilization. The production control system adapts the production lots exactly to the manufacturing process. Cut-to-size parts – already oriented depending on the downstream processing steps – are taken out of the circular workcell and labelled.  Moreover, the ls 1 can be interlinked with all upstream or downstream workcells in order to increase production capacity.
