Employer attractiveness more important than ever

Employer Branding at IMA Schelling - becoming a reputable employer with professional development and work-life balance

WHAT DO THE AGE GROUPS

VALUE IN AN EMPLOYER?

WHAT MAKES A GOOD EMPLOYER?

The answer to this question is becoming increasingly important in times of skilled labour shortages. “Employer branding” is the tool for effective recruiting: using marketing strategies, companies develop an attractive company profile, define their own style with attractive benefits – and establish themselves as a top destination for applicants. Various recently conducted surveys come to different conclusions regarding the factors that influence employer attractiveness. While before the pandemic, work-life balance became increasingly highly valued, many employees valued a secure job during the crisis. The results also vary depending on the age of the respondents. However, across all age groups, it’s clear that in addition to salary, company facilities and career opportunities, employees today increasingly care about values such as fairness and trust, opportunities for further training and a good work-life balance.
