Between hightech and history

Have you ever been to Lithuania? Most people will likely answer no to that question.
But the Baltics are becoming increasingly popular, both in terms of industry and tourism, so a trip to northeastern Europe is well worth considering.

NEW LOCATION

In recent years, the Baltic Region has developed into a modern high tech hub. In terms of international trade, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are very much focused on the EU and Estonia, in particular, is a European forerunner in e-commerce. So, there’s no question that the IMA Schelling Group sees great opportunities for promising synergies at its new site in Eastern Europe. Since 2021, there has been a new branch office in the northeast of Lithuania, in the secondlargest city Kaunas. Fifteen employees are available to help customers with all aspects of service on site.

Kaunas is famed for its unique modern architecture. The city offers art lovers a journey back in time to the Art Deco era, with many of its buildings having been built in 1929. Aleksotas Hill provides a spectacular view of the city, especially by night. Another must-see is Kaunas Castle, which lies at the meeting point of Lithuania’s two most major rivers. The castle is the gateway to Kaunas old town, where visitors will find a huge selection of cosy bars and restaurants. Kaunas also has plenty of green space, with many beautiful routes to explore for those who enjoy a nice stroll.
