Company anniversary, junior staff events and upcoming trade fairs - IMA Schelling has a lot going on!

SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!

This summer, IMA Schelling Deutschland (formerly IMA Klessmann) held a belated celebration for last year‘s seventieth anniversary at the Lübbecke site, with around 500 employees. Everyone was delighted to use the occasion to finally get together again.

Current employees met up with former staff who had been with the company in the early days. Everyone was in party mood and had a great evening with live music, delicious food, and an anniversary laser show. So once again, it seems fitting to raise a glass and look forward to many more successful years as an innovative and fast-growing company!

With immediate effect, a new name will be used to refer to the promotion of the next generation and the provision of training at the IMA Schelling Group: Tech‘n‘Talents. In addition to factory tours for schools and colleges, intern days, and job fairs, open house days will also be organized for interested trainees and apprentices at the Lübbecke and Schwarzach sites under this name. The new scheme was launched in June this year, at the Tech‘n‘Talents Festival in Lübbecke. Professional training courses and dual study programs were presented In a relaxed atmosphere with a Grill&Chill area and DIY activities. The same is planned for November at the Schwarzach site.

Promoting the next generation has always been a priority at IMA Schelling. Training and developing our own next generation is essential in order to safeguard the high quality of our products and the know-how in our company over the long term.

After more than two years without trade shows due to the pandemic, we are delighted to announce that next year, we will again be taking part at LIGNA in Hanover. We are already looking forward to showcasing our new machine and system software live and bringing you many other technical highlights, as well as finally being able to enjoy interesting discussions and ideas on site and in person once again. NEW ORDERS

FULLY AUTOMATED BATCH SIZE 1 LINE FOR SALEX IN BULGARIA

The Bulgarian dealer of individual furniture parts is the first of our Eastern European customers to invest in a fully automated batch size 1 line. In the last 5 years, we have already been able to convince SALEX of our competence with various individual machines. Now, in autumn 2023, the production will be expanded by an interlinked system consisting of ls 1 cutting system, vs area storage on the second level and a fully equipped Performance.one edging cycle.

IKEA SUPPLIER FREDA INVESTS IN NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE PRODUCTION LINE

For the production of various furniture parts, Freda invests in another line from IMA Schelling. Consisting of 2 double-sided Combimas and an IMAGIC Flex drilling machine with 2 vertical drilling stations as well as various handling components and separating FBA, the high-performance line will be delivered and commissioned in the first half of 2024. A special feature of the line is the possibility to drill horizontal holes already on the second Combima in the edging process. This increases the performance enormously.

NEW CARCASE LINE FOR KITCHEN FURNITURE MANUFACTURER BALLERINA

Ballerina Kitchens is investing in a new high-performance smallbatch production line. The two single-sided Combimas with automatic loading and stacking system will be installed in summer 2024 to produce up to 3,300 carcase parts per shift. The new system replaces an existing production line and was specially designed for the existing, rather tight, space conditions.
