With a management transformation, IMA Schelling Group, which was merged eight years ago, is entering a new phase that leaves previous thought patterns behind. In order to finalize the process and solidly unify the company, the decision was made to streamline management with short decision-making paths and a common direction.

Globally active and on a growth course, the IMA Schelling Group proves itself with its solutions for fully automated and interlinked plants in the furniture, wood-based materials and metal industries. Customers around the globe include major furniture and kitchen manufacturers, as well as corporations in the aircraft industry.

Team with 1,850 employees

As a corporate group, success has transformed what were once separate, medium-sized operations into a united team with 1,850 employees. This united appearance is now a matter of course for IMA Schelling's employees and customers and is now manifested all the more in the company's changed top management.

Christoph Geiger and Maximilian Lehner, who were already members of the management, form the new executive board and continue to stand for the self-image as a united company. The executives formerly represented in the top management alongside the new managing directors are leaving the previous four-man management team. Wolfgang Rohner, co-owner and currently CEO, will move to the Supervisory Board at the end of the year. In this function, he will continue to support the new management in strategic matters.
Andreas Bischoff, previously CSO, is leaving the company on good terms and will take on a new challenge.

Setting the course for the future

IMA Schelling Group will continue to support its customers in all markets and projects of the four service areas - Woodworking, Board, Precision and Consulting - with its usual competence and effectiveness. The shortened decision-making processes and the even stronger bundled orientation will further optimize the cooperation and process efficiency for staff and customers.
