Success factor automation

AMD.work & HP.stack - Perfect for cutting technical plastic sheets and blocks to size

The two automation solutions AMD.work and HP.stack were originally developed by IMA Schelling Precision for the processing of aluminum and technical plastic sheets - especially for applications involving high sheet weights, large-format semi-finished products and heavy blocks in single sheet cutting. This has since been proven: The systems really come into their own with technical plastic sheets in particular - from flexible handling to precise logistics.

Ideal for large formats and heavy blocks made of engineering plastics.Whether large-format plastic sheets or solid blocks - automation with AMD.work and HP.stack makes it possible to process sheets and blocks up to 4100 mm long and in material thicknesses from 5 mm to 200 mm efficiently and gently. Companies benefit from a significant reduction in the workload of their employees, greater process reliability and consistently high cutting quality.

AMD.work - Smart handling directly at the saw

AMD.work takes over all handling tasks directly at the panel dividing saw: The cut strips of technical plastic sheets are automatically removed, temporarily stored and re-inserted for cross-cutting. The finished blanks are then discharged fully automatically. AMD.work is optimally designed for the requirements in the field of technical plastics and can be combined with various panel dividing saws from IMA Schelling Precision.

HP.stack - Automated material logistics for engineering plastics

HP.stack is the next level of automation. The handling portal takes care of all the material logistics involved in cutting technical plastic sheets. Placed directly next to the saw, HP.stack automatically loads the saw with plastic sheets or blocks, removes finished blanks from the roller conveyor and places them precisely on pallets, in boxes or on conveyor lines. Leftover sheets can also be automatically returned to the warehouse if required.

Particularly advantageous: HP.stack processes formats up to 4100 mm in length and covers a wide range of parts - from the smallest blanks from 50 x 50 mm to large-format plastic blocks.

“Automation is a decisive advantage, especially for engineering plastics, where heavy sheets and blocks are processed and high precision and reliable processes are essential.”
“With our solutions, we are taking the processing of technical plastics to a new level - efficient, safe and future-oriented,” explains Dieter Zucalli, Product Manager at IMA Schelling Precision.
