IMA Schelling can look back on an extremely successful participation at the Aluminium Messe 2024 in Düsseldorf. As one of the leading suppliers of precision solutions for aluminum processing, the company welcomed numerous visitors and presented its latest innovations. The focus was particularly on the two new solutions AMD.work and HP.stack, which are designed to take panel cutting one step further in automation.
With AMD.work and HP.stack, IMA Schelling Precision offers an answer to the increasing demands in aluminum processing. The smart handling systems make it possible to cut heavy aluminum plates more efficiently, reduce dependence on skilled workers and at the same time increase the quality and precision of the end products.
AMD.work is the first step towards fully automated production. The system takes over the complete handling of the cut strips at the saw and ensures seamless integration into the production process. HP.stack goes one step further and also takes over the feeding of the saw and the handling of the finished blanks. These automation solutions offer a flexible, expandable platform that can be adapted to the needs of our customers.
Over 500 visitors from 31 nations were welcomed by IMA Schelling on the exhibition sands, including both long-standing customers and new prospects. The demonstrations of AMD.work and HP.stack met with great interest and generated a lot of positive feedback. In numerous technical discussions, it was possible to talk in detail about future projects and cooperation opportunities - always with a clear focus on the topics of automation and digitalization.
The aluminum industry is increasingly moving towards sustainability and resource efficiency. Automation solutions such as AMD.work and HP.stack play a key role in meeting the increasing requirements and further boosting efficiency in production. Dieter Zucalli, Product Manager at IMA Schelling Precision, emphasizes: “Automation in aluminium processing is not a trend, but a necessity in order to meet the demands of the market. Our new solutions offer companies the opportunity to take their production to the next level.”
Overall, the Aluminum Fair 2024 was a complete success for IMA Schelling. “We look forward to deepening the new contacts we made and continuing to develop innovative solutions for our customers,” says Dieter Zucalli.
