SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: IMA OPENS ON-SITE DAY CARE

CORPORATE CHILD CATE FOR RECONCILIATION OF CHILDREN AND CAREER

Today a good balance of family and work is a central topic for employees. However, particularly in North-Rhine Westphalia, there is a huge lack of daycare places. The IMA Schelling Group responds to this problem by setting up an onsite daycare facility at the Lübbecke site which starts working in April 2020. It offers place for 60 children in four groups, from infancy onward. For IMA, the on-site day care is another brick in a family-friendly employment policy. Satisfied and motivated employees ensure a good work atmosphere and increase the attractiveness of a company as an employer. Also the Lübbecke region profits from IMA’s on-site day care because the onsite daycare facility is open to children other than those of employees. Since there is a great need for child care already today, twelve children will be housed in a container adapted to the needs of children from August on.
