Technikum as a Competence Center

In the Technology Center, several stations with hands on machine demonstrations and current applications from different fields await you. Experience technologies related to edge processing, CNC machining, automation, vision systems, and software solutions directly on the machines. In addition to the live demonstrations, videos, presentations, and exhibits provide insights into innovations and new developments in mechanical engineering. Move freely between the stations, engage in conversations with our experts, and discover modern technologies up close.

Factory Tours

Gain insights into our production and experience current projects, machines, and systems directly on site. Discover how modern manufacturing is put into practice at IMA Schelling. The tours take place daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Communication Area

In the communication area, you will find space to connect with our experts and industry partners and take advantage of networking opportunities. At the same time, our service team will present current topics through dedicated presentations and stations. Catering with food and drinks will also be available throughout the event.

Current Trends in pass-through Edge Processing

Learn more about current solutions for flexible manufacturing. The focus is on the workpiece thickness flexible pressure beam and the question of whether this technology opens up new possibilities for efficient and adaptable production. In addition, current topics in furniture and door manufacturing will be addressed. In particular, this includes the increasing use of thicker edge materials in the edging of profiled workpiece edges. Current trends in the field of postforming will also be briefly presented.
