The courage, eagerness to experiment and enthusiasm for technology of company founders Erich Klessmann (IMA Klessmann) and Georg Schelling (Schelling Anlagenbau) laid the foundation for today's success of the Group.
Rooted in the tradition and values of medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, both companies evolved into successful internationally active machinery and plant manufacturers, with each company taking a separate path at first. In 2016, the long-year cooperation partner firms merged to form the privately owned and operated IMA Schelling Group.
