Individualized cutting solutions for rolled aluminium panels

A challenge at the highest level

The demands placed on panel cutting cells in aluminium rolling mills are particularly high due to high raw panel or stack weights and lengths. Whether you want to cut 75,000 t/a or 240,000 t/a, we supply the panel cutting cells you need for cutting the aluminium to international standard sizes, for example our fully automatic am 12, which can be designed and equipped to suit your individual needs. With our economic solutions for high-precision cutting of rolled aluminium panels from one source, we guarantee you high cutting quality, a scratch-free surface and high technical availability of the work cells all of which are very easy to operate. The modularity of the work cells allows them to be adapted to local site conditions and in particular to the spatial conditions of the site.

  • Feeders can handle up to 30 tons
  • Special cutting lengths greater than 12 m are possible
  • End cut, rip cut, cross-cut saws or circular work cells
  • Fully automatic waste handling systems
  • Size reduction of the aluminium waste into smaller sizes for easier handling, performed by saws
  • Material specimens are automatically taken out of the cell
  • Alloys in the form of swarf, chips and offcuts are separated
  • Chip and dust extraction system
  • Weighing stations
  • Heavy-load vacuum feeders and stackers
  • Automatic paper insertion for package generation
  • Automatic identification and labelling of the panels with Data Matrix codes or QR codes
  • Automatic temperature compensation
  • Saw feed passageway
  • Panel flatness detection using a traffic light system
  • Reporting

Creative engineering

Being a technological leader in the global marketplace that has accumulated a long-year experience in the field of aluminium panel cutting, we have repeatedly demonstrated our knowledge and expertise in providing solutions to the aluminium manufacturing industry. We know how to cut a rolled aluminium plate down to size and are familiar with the problems that can occur when cutting rolled products. For example, our patented autonomous splitting wedge system prevents the saw blade from jamming in the saw cut as a consequence of stresses in the workpiece and hence allows for frictionless processing of the aluminium panels.
