The sorting and stacking of plastic and aluminium sheets & panels, printed circuit boards or panel-shaped composite materials places particularly great demands on the applicable workcell solution. Demanding surfaces such as acrylic glass require gentle handling. Unfortunately at the same time thin plastic panels tend to become electrostatically charged, are attracted to one another and hence are difficult to separate. In contrast, the handling of massive metal panels requires particularly heavy equipment design.
