Thinking of those who need support at Christmas: Instead of presents for its customers, IMA Schelling Group, the specialist for plant solutions in the wood, metal and plastics industries, is supporting social initiatives at its sites in Luebbecke (Germany) in North Rhine-Westphalia and in the municipality of Schwarzach (Austria) in Vorarlberg.

The organisers of the Schwarzacher Netz, which helps community members in need, were delighted to receive a Christmas donation of 5,000 euros. The donation was received by Mr Franco Schneider (right) and handed over by Mr Maximilian Lehner, Sales Director at IMA Schelling.

"Das Schwarzacher Netz" helps quickly and unbureaucratically when people in the community of Schwarzach are in need - be it due to the illness of a family member or as a result of an accident. The Austrian initiative is supported by IMA Schelling with a Christmas donation of 5,000 euros, as is "Lebenshilfe Luebbecke". The registered association looks after people with mental or psychological disabilities in the Luebbecke/Buende area and runs day-care centres, workshops and residential homes. The money will be used for the additional educational offers in the field of supported communication in the day-care centres. The donations were handed over on 30 November in Schwarzach and on 10 December in Luebbecke.

"IMA Schelling takes its responsibility as a company very seriously," affirms Maximilian Lehner, Sales Director at IMA Schelling. Various social initiatives of the past years have already been awarded seals of quality, for example for employee health or the compatibility of work and family.
