Performance class 1

500 to 800 parts per 8-hour shift

Individual solutions for manufacturing companies

Our workcells of the performance class 1 are perfect solutions for small shops that are on the brink of becoming industrial enterprises. Designed for production capacities of 500 to 800 parts per 8-hour shift, the performance class 1 is also optimally suited for repair and refabrication of parts.

The performance class 1 comprises systems for small batch production and batch-size-1 production individually tailored to your needs. Semi-automated solutions and single machines will be optimally installed depending on your processing requirements and spatial conditions.

These machines can be easily integrated into a complex production network. Hence, the performance class 1 allows for optimal material flow, efficient material handling and frictionless processing of each production order – from panel cutting down to the finished product – already in small batch production and batch-size-1 production.

Performance class 2

800 to 1500 parts per 8-hour shift 

Interlinked manufacturing in a future-oriented furniture production

With the IMA Schelling performance class 2, we offer machines and workcells for batch-size-1 production designed to meet your specific requirements. With a production capacity of 500 to 800 parts per 8-hour shift, it is a perfect manufacturing solution for future-oriented industrial enterprises.

The performance class 2 offers various solution concepts for medium-sized productions and ensures optimized throughput time for very different requirements. A plant supervisory system with intuitive user interface unites all single machines in a networked system and allows for optimal material flow, efficient material handling and frictionless processing of each production order – from panel cutting down to the finished product.

Performance class 3

1500 to 3000 parts per 8-hour shift 

Interlinked manufacturing – from the raw panel to the finished furniture

The individualized manufacturing solutions of our performance class 3 are specifically developed for industrial batch-size-1 production on a large scale. The work cells offer optimal equipment for the production of 1500 to 3000 parts per 8-hour shift.

The performance class 3 comprises fully integrated lines designed to meet your specific needs. These production lines usually combine flexible high-performance panel cutting and edge processing machines, which are often directly interlinked with powerful handling and sorting systems down to complete drilling and assembly lines.

Here too, a plant supervisory system with intuitive user interface controls the interaction of the individual parts of the plant and allows for optimal material flow, efficient material handling and frictionless processing of each production order – from panel cutting down to the finished product.

Performance class 4

At least 3000 parts per 8-hour shift 

Automated interlinked manufacturing in the professional furniture production league

Our manufacturing plants of the performance class 4 are designed specifically for the batch-size-1 production of at least 3000 parts per 8-hour shift. That means, this performance class plays in the professional league for industrial batch-size-1 production of furniture and interior furnishings.

The performance class 4 provides you with a fully integrated and automated system individually designed to meet your requirements. It usually combines flexible high-performance panel cutting cells and interlinked edge processing machines. In order to reach the high production capacities and throughfeed rates required, these machines are directly interlinked with powerful handling and sorting systems.

In the same way as in the performance class 3, a plant supervisory system with intuitive user interface controls the interaction of the machines of the complex processing plant and allows for optimal material flow, efficient material handling and frictionless processing of each production order – from panel cutting down to the finished product.
