Robot.work

Our Robot.work solution for the cutting area provides you with the perfect introduction to automation. By equipping our fh 4 and fh 5 saws with an industrial robot, you are able to process cutting plans automatically without giving up the option of manual operation. The robot can stack chaotically on up to three double-euro pallets or be used in concatenation. Do you already own an fh machine? Let us check whether a robot can be retrofitted!

Performance.cut with robot

We recommend the fully automatic operation of our Performance.cut with the aid of a robot – to deliver you even greater machine utilisation. The robot removes the parts from the machine and feeds them to the various process destinations, which can be reached by means of conveyor technology, stacks or a combination of both. The return of remnants ensures that no waiting times arise in the Performance.cut infeed. While the large remnant is still being removed at the front, the next master board can be fed in at the rear.

Edging machine with robot

Infeed from the stack, repositioning, turning: the robots on our edge banding machines take care of all these tasks with ease. Whether automating the stream of parts from the flow or stack, robots from IMA Schelling deliver high cycle rates with unbeatable availability. The advantages of our robots are particularly apparent in complex plants or with chaotic stacking patterns.

BIMA Cx40 with robot

For optimal utilisation of the machine, transported boards or boards from the stack can be promptly transferred to and from the IMA Schelling Group's BIMA Cx40 machining centre. Thanks to the high availability of the robot, batches can be produced automatically and reliably – both as a stand-alone solution and in a linked configuration. Furthermore, the robot can be equipped with the tried and tested linear axis from IMA Schelling for an even greater radius of use.

BIMA Px80 with robot

Prompt infeed is essential in order to fully utilise the capacity of the BIMA machining centre. We have resolved this issue for you with our robot. Whether incoming from transport or from a stack, boards can be transferred to and from the IMA Schelling Group's BIMA Px80 machining centre with complete flexibility. Thanks to the inbuilt linear axis, the plant can be easily expanded to include additional applications. Various modules can be selected for this purpose, such as shelves, transport trolleys, stacking places, etc. It is also possible to turn parts using the 6-axis robot.

Robot.sort v

Searching for parts and dealing with cluttered areas are a thing of the past thanks to IMA Schelling's tried and tested, effective sorting system – the Robot.sort v. In an area of less than 9 x 10 m, the robot automatically stores your parts in books and retrieves them again through order picking. The system can be readily multiplied and interlinked for high capacities, while extending it with additional modules, such as transport trolleys, stacking places, etc. is also possible. The parts can be brought into the sorting system via conveyor systems or taken directly from the Performance.cut.

Robot.sort c

If you require absolute batch sizes of 1, you also require an absolute batch size 1 sorting buffer. Storing the workpieces in individual compartments means that the robot has access to every part at all times. Our gripping technology is even able to reliably hold and safely transport large workpieces. Furthermore, our configurable racks can be easily adapted to your range of parts at a later date. Our experts will be happy to assist you with the rack design.

Pick & Place robot for transport trolley

Stacked or in the transport trolley? Fully automated or via manual infeed? Everything is possible with the Pick & Place robot for transport trolleys from IMA Schelling. With our transport system, the transport trolleys move reliably through the process. Are you already using transport trolleys? Our systems engineering experts will check whether we can use your trolleys, to ensure your investment is kept as low as possible.

Stacking system with robot

The distribution of workpieces to different stacking targets is straightforward, thanks to our stacking system. Up to five stacks can be simultaneously fed by one robot, depending on dimensions. The system is capable of handling serial and chaotic stacking patterns. Our software reliably calculates the stability of the resulting stacks, ensuring a safe and compact stack pattern with high packing density.
