To this end, we offer you a quality apprenticeship and also good career prospects after your apprenticeship at IMA Schelling. In fact, we prepare young people for their future career in our company. That means we give all apprentices a guarantee of one year's employment once they have successfully completed their apprenticeship. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
APPRENTICESHIP SALARIES:
- 1st training year: 1031.55 €
- 2nd training year: 1082.91 €
- 3rd training year: 1159.22 €
- 4th training year: 1259.43 €
Moreover, after the 7th month of employment, you receive an allowance for occupational pension schemes.
WORKING TIME, HOLIDAYS:
- 30 days of holiday a year
- 35-hour working week
- Regular daily working time from 7:00 am to 2:45 pm
- Breaks from 9:00 am to 9:15 am and from 0:30 pm to 1:00 pm

THE “MILLS DISTRICT” – BETWEEN THE RIVER WESER AND THE WIEHENGEBIRGE MOUNTAINS
The “Mills district” got its name with good reason: 42 functional wind, water and horse-driven mills as well as Germany's only operational ship mill are the symbols of this region. But the "Mills District“ offers a lot more than just mills.
East Westphalia, and specifically the Minden-Lübbecke district, is also known as an industrial area that has a good infrastructure. The film about the city of Lübbecke describes the possibilities and quality of life in this region very well.
