The IMA Schelling team had inspiring discussions at IndiaWood in Bangalore

The IMA Schelling Group kicked off its international trade fair year here. And IndiaWood was very successful for the machine and plant manufacturer. "We had many inspiring discussions with wood processing companies from Asia and were able to make numerous contacts in these booming regions," emphasises Simon Waterbaer, Director Sales at IMA Schelling.

Focus: global trade fairs

In Germany and Austria, the IMA Schelling Group will increasingly focus on smaller exchange formats such as in-house trade fairs and digital communication in 2024. Internationally, the trade fair calendar is well filled. The business unit Woodoworking, in which IMA Schelling has bundled its expertise in woodworking, can be found at the following global trade fairs in 2024:

• International Woodworking Fair, Atlanta/USA, 6-9 August
• Trä & Teknik, Göteburg, 3-6 September
• Drema, Poznan/Polen, 10-13 September
• WoodTech, Istanbul/Türkei, 12-16 October
• Woodworking Technology Days, Mississauga/Canada, 22-25 October
• SajamNamestaja, Belgrad/Serbien 1-5 November

"WoodTech in Istanbul is particularly important for us this year because we have also just opened a new branch in the Turkish metropolis," emphasises Waterbär.

The business unit Precision will also be represented at ALUMINIUM in Duesseldorf/Germany (8-10 October). At all these trade fairs, the experts from IMA Schelling are looking forward to exchanging ideas with customers and interested parties from all over the world.
